About the CCXP

Is The CCXP Right For You?

The CCXP credential demonstrates that a professional has the experience, education and competency to lead and direct customer experience strategy, programs, projects and more. Candidates for this credential are looking to distinguish themselves in the workforce, validate their skills, stand out to employers, and maximize their earning potential. 

The CCXP is a recognition of high levels of knowledge of, and competency across the customer experience discipline. The CCXP immediately identifies employees and candidates who posses CX expertise. The hiring of a CCXP demonstrates an organization's commitment to CX excellence.

Employers who hire an individual with a CCXP designation can expect an employee who:

• Can lead or support your organization's efforts to improve the customer experience you deliver.
• Will be able to establish and operationalize a set of CX practices. 
• Willill be able to provide analysis and guidance to executives and peers to design products and services that enhance your CX.
• Has a network of other CCXPs, CXPA members and resources for advice, best practices, and tools

The CCXP application fee, which includes a $150 non-refundable processing fee, must be submitted with the application.

•  Application fees are 100% non-refundable unless the CCXP program notifies you that you are ineligible for the program. If you are determined not to be eligible to take the CCXP exam, your fees will be returned to you less a $150 application processing fee.
•  Examination testing rights expire six months after the date of application approval.

Options are available for bundled applications and membership packages.

Many potential applicants ask, "when is the right time to submit my application?" What we have learned from hundreds of applicants is that they have undertaken a significant amount of time preparing for the exam and application process before submitting their application.

The CCXP program is different than other learning or certificate programs. While there are no specific courses or required readings to participate, you do need to meet experience requirements before you are able to take the CCXP exam – and you need to pass the exam to earn the certification. While everyone is eligible to apply to the program, everyone must meet the application requirements and achieve a passing exam score to earn the CCXP.

CCXP applications may be submitted 365 days a year through the online application portal.

The CCXP is governed by the CCXP Advisory Committee who sets the strategic direction for the CCXP program, sets examination policies within accepted psychometric practices, approves the passing score for each exam form and confers the CCXP designation on qualified candidates, 

The CCXP program is supported by a world-class association staff provided by Jaffe Management.  The staff attends to the day-to-day operations of the CCXP, working with the Advisory Committee, volunteers, members, and partners to deliver value to certification holders.

The Certified Customer Experience Professional (CCXP) program provides professional recognition of individuals with high levels of knowledge of the customer experience discipline. It is an industry-wide, independent, standardized certification for CX practitioners to demonstrate their customer experience management experience and knowledge.  The individuals who have earned the CCXP, have met the experience requirements for the credential and passed a rigorous examination.  To maintain the credential, each CCXP must complete and document ongoing training in customer experience.

The Directory is linked to the certification database and serves to verify the certification status of all CCXPs in good standing.  If you have a question about the status of an individual not listed in the directory or if you are a listed CCXP that would like an edit made to your information, please email ccxpsupport@cxpa.org.
