Bio

Over 35 years, I’ve worn many hats – from my early years in TV and graphic design to digital transformation, project management and business consulting and, in the last decade, building and leading multidisciplinary high-performance teams in all aspects of business, product and service design.

Ultimately, my work has helped organisations across many industry sectors, as diverse as fintech, retail and high education to local government, to counter disruption and navigate constant change. This work has been united by a focus on CX and UX/UI design, in title and intent. However, both the reality and impact are far broader than this. Across engagements, I have created solutions that bridge the art and science of business. I use a tapestry of skills and specialisations leading multi-disciplinary creative and technical teams to embed best practices in design and digital production and drive critical improvements in performance. From standing up new in-house customer experience (CX) functions driving business improvements and innovation to supporting award-winning digital transformations through best-practice and lean customer experience design, I help executive leadership teams by unblocking existing issues, remove pain points and putting in place new tools, structures and processes to create lasting impact and value.

As a leader, I bring a strong work ethic, a dedication to fixing known issues and uncovering unknown opportunities with a commitment to excellence and high quality. Hands-on and collaborative, a significant part of my role involves nurturing talent and developing future leaders which I enjoy immensely and believe is the core of my ability to drive results and leave lasting impact. I am a coach and mentor with the CXPA and IxDF and contribute to the broader professional community.
